Custom Pick and Place

This custom pick and place uses the accuracy and speed of an AFAG pick and place with the versatility of an AGI wide-body gripper.

This picks up the part and flips it on its axis for a vision inspection of the part. It then places the part in a nest with the correct surface upward. The AGI grippers extra stroke let this same unit be used for multiple parts with out tooling changes.

AFAG Pneumatic Handling

The design of the handling modules from Afag - both in dimensions and performance - is custom-tailored to the demands of modern assembly automation. It is the foundation of the Afag handling module building block system. Different sizes with all required stroke lengths ensure precision and millions of duty cycles.
